Sorry for the recent lack of posts. Nonni was here, then I was on vacation, then Grandma and Grandpa Strathman were here. We've been busy!
Will has been enjoying playing with the cat. He loves to pet her, and I think she doesn't think it's all bad either!
Will continues to be a super-smiler, and is generally happy unless he's tired or hungry.
Sometimes, when a smile isn't quite enough, Will just opens his mouth as wide as he can!Hanging out! I know, we need to get him a little KU hat! Will's new preferred way to sleep. Anytime we go in to check on him, he's sleeping on his tummy with his butt up in the air! So cute! We're still working on trying to sit up, some days are better than others. Will is still not loving the baby oatmeal. He gets the mechanics of eating, but I think doesn't really like the flavor of the cereal. Thinking about giving him some peas or carrots in the next few days. I can't believe Will will be 6 months old this week! How did that happen??
We decided to go ahead and give some baby oatmeal a try- the pediatrician told us at the 4 month appointment that we could try whenever we thought Will was ready. When he stopped in the middle of nursing to look jealously at a piece of bacon I was eating, we decided he was ready!
First bite... Yum! Messy face! This bib sure tastes good... I think I can get the hang of this whole "eating" thing!
Well, being post-call is as much of a day off as I'll get this week, but I did get some sleep last night, so I suppose it will have to suffice. Besides, I can't complain too much, when I have this adorable little munchkin to play with! Some cute pics from the last week... Looking for good bargains! Cuddle-bug! Silly boy getting all wrapped up because he was rolling around in the pack-n-play!
